Refillable toner cartridges can save you more than 90 percent on the price of a new cartridge, but there will be a serious sacrifice to quality. Recycled toner can save on your overhead costs, and the monetary savings is not the only advantage that you have to look at. For example, refillable toner cartridges are more biodegradable, and they lead to less paper waste.

A toner refill costs little compared to a new cartridge, but the size and method of the refill could vary based on the cartridge model. Newer cartridges have the advantage of being calibrated to prevent clogging your nozzles, and they have been tested to guarantee clear and sharp imaging.
